Play Time

Xander has had his first week of daycare. So far, everything seems to be going pretty well. He has been very good away from home (Elizabeth, I hope you agree!) and we have been making a big effort to have some good play time with him in the evenings.

Xander has been learning how to use his hands more this week. He doesn't reach out to pick things up yet, but he will hold on to toys that you put in his hands, and he grabs at the toys hanging in his play gym.

We went to the pool on Tuesday. We all enjoyed ourselves for a little but the water was a bit cool, and Xander wasn't very interested for long.

Xander has really been enjoying the play gym. The dogs think it is pretty fun to hang out with him too. Xander is starting to figure the dogs out a little bit, and find them pretty interesting. Of course, it is hard to ignore Otto entirely when he lays down with his head in your lap, especially when his head is almost as big as you are!
