This year we headed to our new home in Crested Butte for a fantastic New Year's Eve celebration with the Fossums. After dark, CB does a wonderful and unique torch lit parade of skiiers and boarders down the mountain followed by fireworks. It was beautiful and cool to watch, but next year, I'm going to try to get in on that action! A little later, we left the kiddos with Alex, and the adults went out to a nice Italian dinner, and then had a few drinks while rocking out with folks 10 years younger than we are at a local bar. I'm not sure I'm up for that much excitement every year, but we sure did have a good time!
