At long last, I have new hardwood floors in the house. Many of you might know that I have hated my very old, very worn carpets for a long time, and we've been saving up for hardwood floors instead. And with the new baby, we finally had the excuse to get it done. And as long as we were going for it, we decided to get the staircase, which had been chewed up by Blitz as a puppy, done as well.

ReplyDeleteBTW, LOVE the floors! :) That is our plan with the downstairs eventually but remodeling budget constraints required one hallway, one closet and one bedroom of carpet for now.

looks great guys!! glad you are happy with the result. Though I must say...doesn't look like Xander likes it byt he look on his face...and Otto looks a little lost like he's not sure where to curl up and sleep with no comfy carpet!! I'm sure they'll adapt! tina
